Population in Atascocita has grown considerable to 35,757 in the year 2000. The median household income in 1999 was $73,000

Some of the major employers in the area are Lowe´s of Atascocita  located at 7355 FM 1960 Road East in Humble, a Walmart and in nearby The Woodlands, Anadarko Petroleum is listed 333 of the Fortune 500 companies.

Atascocita Country Club  is a private Golf Course in the area. Beautiful greens and private country club.  

You can come to Atascocita Real Estate from anywhere in the world as the Bush Intercontinental Airport  is only fifteen minutes away.  The Metro also has a Park and Ride location in Kingwood just in case you would like the already smooth commute to be handled by someone else doing the driving!  Talk about up to the minute, The Greater Houston Transportation and Emergency Management Center website has actual real time maps and  webcams of certain streets in the Atascocita area.  Places they may have construction traffic and such.  Really great idea!
